Young adults, adults and seniors are encouraged to apply. We will also save a few seats for high school aged students who are interested in caregiving and promoting healthy perinatal outcomes.
No, this training is offered virtually or in person. The virtual sessions can be accessed worldwide through the Zoom platform. Currently all sessions are in the English language. We will add Spanish bilingual sessions in 2025.
No, this training is made possible through the generosity of Community foundations, corporations and community partners.

Participants who complete the required training may receive a completion bonus and incentives based on the discretion of the sponsoring organization. This varies from state to state .
An opportunity will be provided to make up sessions.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and will have opportunities to receive additional certifications in several "deeper dive training opportunities."
The H.E.A.R.T. training specializes in empowering individuals and family members with critical knowledge to effectively serve as health advocates for their family members. It is also a great resource for Maternal Community Health Workers (CHW) and other healthcare professionals. H.E.A.R.T. provides a more comprehensive approach to maternal and infant health with a goal of creating healthier outcomes and eliminating disparities in adverse infant and maternal health experiences.
Yes, this training is available to all regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion or ethnicity.
