With a focused emphasis on maternal and infant health, the program advances equity in perinatal care through evidence-informed strategies and best practices for families, healthcare professionals, and community health educators. Offered as professional development and community health education coursework, sessions are co-facilitated by healthcare professionals and women with lived experience—blending clinical expertise with authentic, community-informed insight.

Exploring Total Women’s Wellness is a whole-woman education and empowerment series that addresses the interconnected physical systems, along with the social, emotional, relational, and environmental factors that shape women’s health across the life course. The program bridges a critical gap in traditional health education by helping participants understand how stress, trauma, caregiving strain, and environmental pressures disrupt the body and contribute to preventable chronic disease. Co-facilitated by interdisciplinary healthcare professionals and women with lived experience, sessions equip participants with practical tools to take informed, proactive action that strengthens personal health, family stability, and long-term wellness.
